DFW loves that Cadillac brought back "Caddy for Caddie"

The DFW Cadillac Dealers enjoy watching professional golf. Mainly because during some professional golf tournaments there is a par three hole featuring a high-end luxury vehicle parked somewhere near the green. The idea is sink a hole-in-one and you win the car. This is a fantastic advertising opportunity and it also makes for great television if a golfer actually makes the shot. The golfer then gets a nice, new, luxury ride, but what about the man behind the golfer? The unsung hero is the caddie who told his golfer which club to use and how much the wind and the surface of the green will affect the shot. Cadillac believes they have the answer to that question.
This year’s winning golfer of the HP Byron Nelson Championship will receive one of those really big checks, the ones only seen on television, but his caddie will receive something much, much larger. The winning golfers caddie will receive a Cadillac Escalade Hybrid. With 22 inch wheels, intellibeam headlamp, rear-seat entertainment system, power retractable assist steps, heated and cooled cup holder and leather first and second row seating. You can bet that will be one happy caddie driving in his new Cadillac Escalade Hybrid. A token of appreciation to the person who contributed much more than just carrying a golf bag for a couple of days.
This will be the first “Caddy for Caddie” promotion since Cadillac gave away a XLR-V at the 2008 Byron Nelson Championship. But you don’t have to be a caddie or a golfer to feel like a winner in the Cadillac Escalade Hybrid. Stop by your local DFW Cadillac Dealer to test drive one today.
